Video and Audio transcripts

Howspace creates automatic transcripts to all new videos and audios uploaded to Howspace wheter they are uploaded to Video and Audio widgets or Super Chat! These automatically generated transcripts make your videos and audio content more accessible to diverse audiences, including those with hearing impairments.

How It Works:

Upload Your Content: Add your videos and audios through Video and Audio widgets or Super Chat
Automatic Transcription: Sit back and relax as Howspace automatically generates precise transcripts for your uploaded media.

Page templates

We've expanded our collection of public page templates in the gallery, offering you even more options to kickstart your processes. On top of that, exclusive Premium templates are now available for our all paying customers!

To get started with these templates in your workspace, follow these simple steps:

Navigate to the Action menu.
Select 'Add a page from a template.'
Choose 'Create a page from template.'

Remove users email from suppression list

The most asked question from our support team has always been: Could you remove this users email from the suppression list?

Say goodbye to unnecessary queries about removal from suppression list. All workspace admins can now take immediate action to remove users email from suppression list. The suppression list exists to ensure that emails are not sent to addresses that are not in use or reported issues, maintaining compliance and respecting user preferences. To remove an email from the suppression list, admins must be absolutely certain that the email is still in use and correctly spelled.

How to do it:

Navigate to Action menu
Click on 'Workspace settings'
Go to Attention tab where email failures are visible
Click '...' and then click 'Remove user email from the suppression list'

Other product updates and enhancements:

Fix to the people widget: Make pagination button color follow visual settings
Poll and Pulse: Retain unsaved selections / answers when widget is updated
Pulse enhancement: hide compare results in pulse in the absence of user profile fields or userlists
Super Chat: Listing users in alphabetical order when filtering users (Ecosystem)
Super Chat: Do not show typing information in chat if names are hidden (Ecosystem)
Improved sign up flow for Entra ID (Azure) Teams/SSO app
Anonymity: Exclude the profile fields from the excel export if the widget is permanently anonymous

Sending emails incident on 29th of Nov

On Monday 27th of Nov, our monitoring flagged a significant spike in email delivery from a Free account, evidently used for spam. We promptly closed this account and found and closed three similar accounts.

Due to increased complaints from these mails AWS paused our email deliveries on 29th of Nov. Despite no direct notification, we identified and resolved the issue on 30th of Nov.

Aftermath: Improvements Underway

Our platform, affected by one spam account, experienced a complete email delivery halt. We're enhancing:

Hard limits on Free account emails
Advanced monitoring and alert systems
Alternative email delivery methods for swift mitigation

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and are committed to preventing such issues in the future.
