Public front page of a workspace

I heard this request in a customer community meeting. And it has been asked before: 

A possibility to create a custom front page for the workspace with a login feature. 

The front page could be: 
- a separate front page (not a visible page inside the workspace)
- replacing the general login page
- possibilities to use the page editor to build the page 
- the address is the root address of the workspace, for example https://our_strategy_2025.in.howspace.com 
- the page could be recognized by search engines

Why: 
- for example communities, and associations could get rid of their homepage. All the real information would be in the workspace, but basic info could be in the front page 
- simplicity
- easier access 

What: 
- the login part could be a fixed part of the page (Social login on as default) 
- just one page, not a website

I like this idea! Could it also be possible to add a tickbox "I accept the privacy policy" when registering? 

That could be already done with profile fields. You van make mandotory.
