We are currently building up and experimenting with Howspace as the platform for our IDG Summit in October. We are looking at 1500 ppl onsite and about 10k online, and will be looking at customizing user experiences based on participation type. We would love to take part of good cases and examples for interaction.
Yes, as a one example we have run World Biggest Parent meets with Finnish National Agency for Education. There has been something like 10 000 parents following and actively participating to those meetings. We have shared a stream where presenters do their show and in the same time we open different polls, pulses and chats and collect ideas with AI. Usually meeting starts a few days earlier with context creation and collecting good questions etc. Discussion also continues a few weeks where responsible from agency are taking care and making sense from data and react concerns. Nowadays it is even easier, because earlier Meets were organized with two languages but now it is possible to use online translation tools to solve it.
Not sure if relevant in your case Ola, but our QR-code login is nice feature for many onsite live events.
Here is also one case example for large scale project: https://howspace.com/customers/finnish-medical-association/
Finnish Medical Assosiation was able to invite more than 20,000 medical professionals from different parts of Finland to participate in the discussion and narrow down their ideas to updated basic principles.
Thanks Antti, that's good to know. That could be relevant for quick access. Right now we are working from an assumption that each user will also want to have access to personalized content (ie which track/session I have selected in the Summit), so then it might be confusing to have two parallell points of entry. We'll see where we land.
