Journey widget looks absolutely fantastic! Question: If a phase is inactive - what happens when a participant clicks on it? When I tested it, I could still enter the page, but I guess it is because I am admin. When changing to participant view, same thing happened.
Hi Louise!
Currently, the active/inactive phases only define what is marked with active/inactive colors. By not adding a link (default is current page (no link)) to the inactive phases, there won't be any links in those before you add them. This, of course, adds some manual work, especially if you are using the scheduled phases.
If you wish something like this to be implemented in the Journey widget, you could submit the idea here: https://ecosystem.howspace.com/roadmap😊
Can this be solved by using page activity scheduling?
I'll see if that solves it, Antti!
If I were to make a page inactive/Scehdueld to be active at a certain date, but have it as part of a phase in the Journey widget, it should not open the page from the journey widget unless the page has become active, Right? If this is the case, I think we might have a little bit of a bug :) All pages are active through the journey widget, and clickable, though the page itself is inactive.
The solution at the moment is: don't add the link if you don't want people to access the page.
We are looking for a solution to this issue. One option would be to add the selection for when active phases are in use that there is the option to show active page links only in currently active and previous phases.
This made us wonder if we need this extra selection or could we automatically use these active and inactive links based on the active phases. It would be great to hear your input on this!
Thanks for replying, Matilda! I just now saw your reply! :) Looks promising !
