Based on Kolb's Experiential Learnning Cycle, the Motorola model is a simple exercise for reflection and development. It can be used in reflection on personal level or on a team/organizational level. The model works well also for mentoring. The model has been used as a reporting tool in the last phases of projects for either analyzing the results or reflecting on the process. Its name originates from the American telecommunications company where it was widely used in reporting.
