Support for selling access to workspaces

It would be great if workspace access could be sold directly from workspace. Even better, if that would support monthly recurring billing - in addition to one-time fees.

This would be great for communities and online courses.

We have initial spec written for this and open for those who are interested.

This feature would be very important for example our type of business that have small resources but potentially a large customer field that could enroll to the course. We really hope to be able to utilize Howspace in developing our product portfolio. 

We would like to organise the web courses using howspace-enviroment. I assume that we need to have:

Support multiple payment operators (only one active per customer), Our clients use their own credentials, so configuration needs to be done at Customer App.
Access time for limited time, X weeks.
We would like to launch the first web course in september

Can you open this a bit more? Do you have a need to configure multiple Paytrail accounts (or other payment providers)? Would your clients be using their own accounts, so money goes directly to your customers - and not to you?

I think in that case (multiple payment accounts) it would then make more sense to configure these in Workspace level though, so that is why I am bit confused. Currently we are planning to have these at Customer App, one payment account per customer - but we are open for feedback.

Antti, so, is this available to be implemented in an existing workspace? I would LOVE that for making the IDG Summit accessible to people now after the fact to pay for access to the content and interactivity afterwards. How do I go about adding this to our workspace? Would you/support be able to assist? THANKS!

Yes, you can contact our support and they can help to setup paid access to workspace. There are multiple options (Zapier, our own payments platform with Stripe etc).

This feature will be developed as a part of the Howspace Hub, which is part of Howspace Learning.
