Schedule email in a certain number of days

When we want to send email to remind particiapnts to complete a task/ assignement, currently we can only schedule email to be sent out in a specific date and time. It is not conveient for workspace that has different start dates; or when duplicating the course, admin has to manually modify the date every time. 

Is it possible to provide another option of scheduling the email in X number of days after a certain condition, such as after the first date they enrolled/ access to the workspace? 

This will save a lot of admin time!

Thanks, Inti. This is a great idea. Having more conditions under options in general would be such a time saver and make pre-creating activities in workspaces a lot easier.

Nice idea and something we have been thinking about too with the concept name of "Relative time". What other use case examples you have than "after first access to workspace"?

I would suggest the email to be triggered by certain conditions such as:

  • X of days not login to the workspace after the last visit
  • X of days after start of the course (and will require input from admin in workspace setting for example)
  • X of days before end of the course (and will require input from admin in workspace setting for example)

And if we are able to pre-set these condition in advance setting, so that the system will auto send an email when it hits the certain condition (e.g. not completed a certain assignement by X of days after start of the course), that'd be much more convenient to admins.
