Possibility to copy also the content when copying pages.

When copying a page to the same or a new workspace, possibility to keep chat, poll and pulse content.

This would be important when you for example need to move certain part of a workspace to another workspace in order to maintain certain results of those widgets. Eg. in a situation when you want to split some work if the organization changes.

Why this is important (comment from customer): It may be rather difficult to understand or even know the needs of the community when setting up a workspace. Ability to “shift” content totally from one workspace to other helps in developing each workspace. Without this feature users are forced to stick to whatever choices they have made during the early steps.

There are two big design obstacles with this:

• When we copy content, we need to copy authors (users) also. So in that regard it is a bigger thing than just copying content.
• It might be confusing to see same dialogue in multiple places.

Is there any more context about the situation where this is needed? Is the editing of the current workspace not an option?

Eg. in one case there has been a workspace which is used widely in one quite big network. Now they have a need to divede that workspace into few workspaces to keep the working more noiceless and simple. Problem is that they loose all the content in those widgets which they have had and they dont want that, because that content is needed also in the future.

Are they going to work with the same extensive network on all of the topics or split into smaller groups?

Hi, I was searching a possibility to gather together several pulse results on a results page and came accross this discussion. My need is simpler and maybe solved differently. To describe the need: I'm planning to use pulse widget due to it's ability to answer between the scale options and it looking better in the page layout. However the questionaire consits of several different aspects and due to each aspect containing complex description of scale, I have divided the questions on several polls, each containing one aspect. I would like to show the results of all the aspects in once view, after the user has answered the polls. Thus I was wondering whether I could copy the given answer to another page or as last step of the questionaire.
