Hiding the "What's new" notification count

Problem: Our customers (especially in the travel industry) have found the large number of unread comments (e.g., 300–500) in the "What's new" notification to be "anxiety-inducing".
This has led to a situation where users who use Howspace less frequently avoid logging into the workspace. The large number feels overwhelming to them.

Proposed Solution: We propose changing how the number is displayed in the "What's new" message and notification. Here are two options:

  1. Hide the count completely: Remove the number from view and only indicate that there is new content.
  2. Set a threshold: Implement a rule where the number is not displayed when it exceeds a certain limit (e.g., 50). In this case, the message could read, for example, "Over 50 new comments."

Objective: The goal of this change is to improve the user experience and lower the threshold for returning to the workspace, even after a longer break. This would reduce the anxiety experienced by users and encourage them to participate more actively.
