Facilitated path 2.0

We introduced Facilitated Path 1.0 version in May 2024 as part of the New Howspace release. Facilitated Path is planned to replace the Steps concept from earlier version of Howspace. 

Facilitated Path 2.0 is planned to include several improvements: 

1. Sticky container: You can decide to pin a container (or several)  on top of the screen that will be visible above all the steps of the Facilitated path. This can be for example: Live widget - participants can join any time to the Live session. Webinar stream - it will stay visible all the time and admin can change steps. 
2. Showing "x are writing...", so that admin knows when to move on
3. Showing the admin, so that if you have several facilitators/admin, you know who is in charge. 
4. Drop-down navigation between steps instead of dots
5. Possiblity to add names of the steps that will be visible in the drop-down
6. Admin containers will be part of the steps, not separate phases
7. Adding several versions of the same Super Chat with different settings. This feature is currently called as "Parallel widget". This feature was done in a different way in Steps in earlier Howspace version. Now you will be able to add a Parallel view a the super chat in different phases and decide what kind of settings will be in use. It will be more simple and flexible that it was in Steps. 

Hi Ilkka, thanks for this exciting update and I look forward to Facilitated path 2.0! While developing I hope these features will also be considered:

• Having admin-only container and general container in the same step - it was there in the old version and the admin-only container allows admins to view the scripts/ guide during virtual delivery
• Scheduled visiability for different steps: In the old person different rounds of the same PULSE widget can be set in different steps and set scheduling. This is super useful espcially the rounds can be auotmatically switched without manual adjusting by the admins. 

Thanks Inti, we are already quite far in the development of Facilitated Path 2.0. We will be introducing a new drop-down menu of the different steps. Admins can add titles and descriptions for the step that are visible only for the admin user, like in the Steps concept. That has already been implemented. Admin containers can be visible throughout the process in the "Stikcy container" or if they are in-between the steps, they are visible in edit mode only. 

We have also implemented a concept called "parallel version" of widgets where you can have different settings for the Super Chat. At the moment the Pulse is not supported by that, but that is part of the future plans. The 2.0 version will introduce the Super Chat parallel version only.

This feature is now available.
