Use case: An exam with 50 questions in total, divided into 5 sub-sections.
Each sub-section needs a heading, without breaking the numbering from 1 to 50.
Sometimes, it can also be useful to eg. add some information about the next set of questions, again without breaking the numbering. An open text field would solve this.
We discussed this and decided not to move forward (at this point at least) with subheadings. Reasoning is, that since those are not questions, it will complicate some of the setups (one question at the time, random question order etc). There is already a rich text editor that can be used to some extend, adding subtitle to all question titles or using multiple widget for sections.
Anyways, happy to hear further ideas to help with more flexible exam setups.
Thanks! Any chance the visible numbering could be optional, then? (In this case, I could go for the "creative" solution and use question fields for the subheadings without breaking the numbering.)
