Howspace can be used to make Q & A:s more efficient. For instance: employees ask their questions, the people responsible for the respective areas answer. The admin has the responsibility to make sure the questions are answered. In other tools (Yammer for instance) the admin can send a comment directly to a person with a note. With Howspace, only thing you can do is to tag a person, and then hope that the person will go into the workspace and find the comment. And if they don't, it does not send good signals to the employees... So my idea (actually my customer's but I support her :-) ) is to develop a possibility to send an email to a person directly from a comment.
When person x is asking a question and someone answers, the personal notification will be sent to x at the same way as the tagging works. Is that enough?
Hmm. Not sure we understand each other. To clarify: Person X asks a question, the facilitator wants person Y to answer it, and emails the comment to person Y with a note: "Can you please answer to this question, it is your area of expertise" Person Y receives the email and sees the comment (question) in the email.
I can see the need. I actually think that the bigger problem here is that you cannot copy links to individual comments, replies or even widgets. So you cannot even send the link using Slack, Teams or email...
We moved this to "not planned" for now.
