Easy access to My Workspaces: Drop menu or Desktop view?

As users are involved in more projects, processes and workshops within Howspace environment in their organization, it would be great if they could see all workspaces they are participating within one personalized "desktop view" or dashboard for easy navigation insted of navigating to Workspace Manager and My Workspaces. This Desktop shortcut to My Workspaces could be symbol based with all new activity visible with tags. One possibility to show the hierarcy of the workspaces could be to show them in a mindmap-style visual. It should be accessible directly from the initial view when entering Howspace services. There could also be a menu access for fast navigation between workspaces you are actively partisipating.

In addition the initial Destop view / Dashboard could present a summary of the user's latest personal contribution to the workspaces he is participating. This could show if there are any new contributions/comments/likes... to these subjects. These summaries could act as shortcuts to quickly access and contribute content to spesific workspaces. It could be a good way to enhance the workflow.

Thanks Janne! We are actually working right niw with "My Howspace" view. The current plan is pretty much what you described here. Once we get to the first version for testing we could check it with you. Interested?
