Lotta from Howspace made us a wonderful visual layout where we use container background colors. Now we would like to use path-mode in some pages but it doesn't work with our visuals.
If we link containers, all of the container background colors switch to one, and I haven't found any way to switch them back. I cannot see any reason why the container background should be the same in all of the step of the path.
In our case e.g. the main headline of the page should be a step by its own since the first text-picture-container on the page usually has a different colour.
Could it be possible to make a change where the background colors stay even if the containers are linked?
Hi Arja and thanks for your idea. I don't see how this could work though, since Path-mode does show one container at the time and container can only have one background.
In case of connected containers they actually become one container (you lose container menu from the another container also).
What a shame this never came up when our new visuals were designed. But we'll just have to manage without path mode then.
This is a personal preference of course, but in my opinion the visuals on the screenshot will work just fine on path mode - just one color per step. I wouldn't let the visuals dominate on what features you utilize - if the path mode would support the process, then I would definitely use it 👍
