Add images in emails

From what I can tell, there is currently no option to include images in emails.

It would be an excellent feature (and I think a rather simple one to add), that would enable the emails to be even more usable as "News" updates for a major event for example. Or even as an addition to a "Thanks for joining the meeting"-email with an image from the meeting. 

This would be very useful/crucial for us for the upcoming IDG Summit in October where we are planning on driving continuous email communication with ticket holders building up to the event. We really want to pull people onto the howspace platform, but we might need to consider a third party option if we want to have it more visually appealing, and send from Howspace as we are really closing in on the Summit and need them to take specific actions within the platform.

Thanks for the reply Matilda. Excellent, yes absolutely check with the Team, I'm hoping that it would be as easy as adding in the Insert image button from the text widget, but I know that there are reasons for everything, so you need to take in the full picture. Looking forward to updates 🤩

Sorry for the radio silence! We're looking into this, and there are quite many aspects to this wish that we have to consider. We must pay close attention to reducing the risk of ending up in the spam folder with our emails so that users will still find their way to the workspace. This is why we decided to consider this change part of the new UI we are working on. I'll keep you updated based on our decision on this 👋🏻

Thanks for the update. I understand that there are many considerations. Crucial of course to consider the spam-aspect. 
Since we are about to launch our platform for the IDG Summit rather soon, we will not count on the feature by October, but rather find ways to work around it and/or use our regular newsletter system in parallell to the howspace emails.

We decided to move this to "Currently not planned". Spam is a big factor, but we also want to encourage richer content inside the workspace, instead of the email.
