We use Howspace for teaching and education, and it would be very convenient and easy to give grades to students, if the teacher could easily see all the tasks one person has submitted.
For example: In the admin's progress view it would be great to either click a participants name or click a task they have done to see it. Now if I have for example couple of assignments I am going to grade and ten tasks I just need to see and read, I have to search every widget one by one to see that one student's answer. Then I have to repeat the process to get an overview of the next student's performance, etc. It would be quick and easy to click a name or a certain task to see the answers submitted. That would save teachers hours and hours of searching from the workspace.
Thanks, the use case makes a lot of sense to me.
When you say "tasks", you mean all the contributions (comments, replies, likes, poll and pulse answers, pins & assignment answers). Should it include exam results too?
By tasks I mean everything we have added to the progress bar - in our case it is mostly assignments, exams and superchat comments, but for other admins it might be all the contributions (including polls, likes, pins etc.). We also use the study path (polkutila) a lot.
Thanks Paula, sounds like a great idea. I am just making sure, I got your idea:
1. The main navigation would happen from Progress admin view
2. Clicking the symbol of a column (task) would show a link to that widget on the right page?
3. If admin clicks any activity in a particpants progress row, sholud that also take admin to the right page and widget?
There are some challenges/exceptions for this concept. For example one activity in progress can be x comments in Super Chats all over the workspace. Also the full path as an activity is different from something that happens in one single widget.
