I am building pages in Path Mode that includes an Exam. The overall flow of the page is: read instructions (Textbox), take pre-assessment (Pulse), watch Video, answer Exam questions based on the video lesson, take post-assessment (Pulse), read concluding remarks (Textbox), end Path by clicking Ready button to jump to a different page. It all worked fine until we decided to make sure the user passed the exam with 80%. Then it doesn't behave how I wish.
Feature request: In Path Mode, I would like for the exam score to be revealed immediately after the Exam step in Path Mode (in my case, before the second Pulse), with the ability to retake the exam (aka, "Try again") when it is not a passing score. In other words, moving forward in the learning path would require passing the exam at whatever % score is specified.
Currently, the only way I can find to reveal the Exam score in Path Mode is to make the Ready button show the same page (not hyperlinked to a different page), and when Ready stays on the same page, then the whole page is expanded, sort of abandoning Path Mode. It doesn't feel as intuitive to lead the user through Path Mode and then switch to showing the whole page at the end, as a requirement to see their score and (if necessary), retake the Exam.
Thanks Gregg, very well described. Got the point. In your case, are you using several Exam widgets or just one, and if several, are they in different phases of the Path?
Thank you for your follow-up, Ilkka!
In my case, I have several Exam widgets, all in one container so they are all together in one step of the Path. That container is linked to the one preceding it, which is just an image that says "KNOWLEDGE CHECK" to introduce the exam portion of the Path. I have made all of the Exam questions mandatory in Path Mode. So, all of the Exam questions (and the KNOWLEDGE CHECK banner) are all visible at the same time as the user steps through the Path; the user can scroll down and back up to answer the questions in any order, but all the questions must be answered before clicking the Next button to advance to the next step in the Path. I appreciate your request for clarification. Let me know if you have further questions.
