Emoji's

Would be great to have emoji's for Superchat!

Thanks for you idea Huimin. Do you mean emoji reactions (in addition to likes) or ability to add emojis inside comments?

The latter is already possible using emoji picker 🥳 like this (Control + Command + Spacebar on Mac and Windows-button + period on Windows). Of course this could have dedicated key or some commonly used shortcut like :

Did know that there is already an emoji picker as it was not visible! Or is it only me who can't see it?

It pops up though with the keyboard shortcut, so we should put some instructions for the users to know how/where they can open the emojis picker...

Yeah, those emoji pickers are operating system default ones, so they work everywhere, not just Howspace (of course database where comments are stored need to support them too). They are not that well known yet, since so many systems have their own emoji pickers available (like this forum here).

I think we will rethink this now that we are building our new UI. Maybe the emoji picker should be there in the default chat integrated somehow.

We decided to implement this for the new UI.
