Cross-filtering in Activity Collection

FEATURE REQUEST
Cross-filtering in Activity Collection (upcoming Progress). E.g. being able to choose both a user list as well as the approval status in order to look at and communicate only with the users in the approved or not approved categories respectively.

USE CASE
A customer is running an introduction training for their users. Right now they have about 700 users doing the training. They operate in regions where the regional manager is responsible for the users in their region completing the training and as a result gaining all the important information about their operations, their actual job etc. They have created user lists based on profile fields enabling the regional leaders to filter and follow up on their users progress. In the Activity Collection (upcoming Progress) they can filter so they only see their users on the list, but what would really make a huge difference and save them time in the administration is to be able to combine the userlist filter with the “based on the approval” status. In that way they could filter the ones in their region that are not approved yet, and email these individuals directly from the Activity Collection (upcoming Progress) view.

In upcoming progress feature we have possibility to sent emails based on the activities they have completed:

That view can be opened by clicking the activity buttons on table header. If this modal would be possible for overall progress also (see the highlight in this image):

Then this email sending would be a step closer. What is still missing is that those users inside the modal views would include only users that match the filtered results.

Other way to support this would be supporting multiple filters, but I guess that would be much bigger project and would make the filtering much more complex to use also.
