Introducing email templates

Many admins send the same emails over and over: welcomes, reminders, invitations to the next session. Until now, reusing an email meant digging through sent emails or duplicating an old workspace. Now you can write an email once as a template and start from it whenever you send.

What’s included:

  • Organisation email templates: main users have a new templates tab in Account Manager → emails. Write your organisation’s standard emails once, and every admin can use them in any of your workspaces.
  • Workspace email templates: save a programme’s emails in Workspace Manager → emails → templates. They’re copied along when the workspace is duplicated or used as a workspace template, so every new run starts with its emails ready.
  • Pick a template when sending: on the “write the message” step, select “choose a template or a previous email as a draft”. The subject and message are filled in, including tags the template might have, such as the recipient’s first name. You can change anything before sending, and your changes don’t affect the template.

Will this change how I send emails?

Sending works the same as before. A template only fills in the subject and message. The sender is always the person sending, and you choose recipients as usual. Drafts you’ve already saved stay as drafts. One thing main users will notice: in Account Manager, default emails have moved from settings → emails to emails → defaults, next to templates.
